Some celebrations are better away from a restaurant table. A decorated boat on the Ganga gives you the river, the ghats and the lights of Varanasi as the setting, and the whole boat is for your group alone.
We arrange the decoration for you, with flowers and lights. You can choose a morning ride for the sunrise or an evening ride for the Ganga Aarti. The morning window is 5:00 to 7:00 AM and the evening window is 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Please confirm your exact time with us when you book.
The same boat is a good choice for a proposal, a surprise for a partner, a family get-together or a small party. A free storyteller comes along and tells the stories of the ghats as you pass them.

Open boat is for up to 20 guests. Canopy boat is covered and suits up to 30 guests, including elders and children. Bajra is a double-decker for up to 60 guests. Cruise is for large celebrations of up to 120 guests.
Optional add-ons you can book with any boat: Banarasi kulhad chai with local snacks for ₹150, a floating diya tray for ₹50, DSLR photography and drone for ₹2,499, and an onboard Ganga pujan by a Vedic priest for ₹2,101. If you want something special, tell us when you message us.
