On a private boat, the whole boat is yours. You choose the route, you are not sharing seats with strangers, and the group stays together for photos, conversations and quiet moments. This is the usual choice for families with elders and children, for friends travelling together and for anyone planning a celebration.
The price is for the boat, not per person, so a bigger group makes it better value. Our boats take 20, 30, 60 and 120 guests. You can ride in the morning for the sunrise, or in the evening to watch the Ganga Aarti from the water.
A free storyteller comes with every boat and explains the ghats as you pass them. Decoration for a birthday or anniversary can be added. See our birthday and anniversary boat booking.

Groups under 6 on a canopy boat are booked as private. For other boats, if you are fewer than the minimum for per-person booking, a private boat is the way to go. Tell us your group size, date and time on WhatsApp and we will suggest the right boat.
A private open boat starts at ₹1,999, a canopy boat at ₹3,499, a bajra at ₹10,999 and a cruise at ₹24,999. The price depends on the route. See the table above.
For a private booking the price is for the whole boat. Some boats also have per-person seats for sharing, which have a minimum number of guests.
The open boat takes up to 20 guests, the canopy boat 30, the bajra 60 and the cruise 120.
Yes. Morning rides run in the 5:00 to 7:00 AM window and evening rides in the 5:30 to 7:30 PM window. Please confirm the exact time with us when you book.
Yes, we decorate the boat with flowers and lights for birthdays and anniversaries. Tell us when you book.
If river police or local administration restrict boats because of high water or bad weather, we offer free rescheduling or a refund as per our policy.
